Instagram auto-reply
Baker replies to Instagram comments and messages using configured flows or AI coverage grounded in the project's knowledge. Configuration is scoped to each connected account.
Before you start
- Connect a professional Instagram account in Settings → Integrations, with comment and message permissions.
- Have permission to manage integrations and an active Auto Reply module in the project.
- Add project knowledge if you want to use AI coverage.
Create and test a flow
Open Tools → Auto Reply → Automations → New flow. Choose a recipe or start from scratch. Set the event (comment or DM), matching words, reply text and the decision to send, request review, hand off to the team or stay silent. If two flows match, the one with the lower priority number wins.
Use Test flow to simulate the current draft without sending anything. Check the message and decision path before publishing. Recipes are editable starting points: review their trigger, text and channels before activating. The opening hours recipe answers questions about hours; it does not detect automatically whether the business is open.
Operate
- Conversations brings together messages and replies awaiting review. You can approve, edit, reject or reply manually.
- Replies lists the text configured in flows; full editing lives in Automations.
- AI and knowledge handles messages with no matching flow only when reliable project knowledge supports an answer. You can choose topic actions and test the decision.
- Experience sets active channels, handoff words and automation identification text.
- Results shows entries, replies sent, conversations started and team handoffs for the selected period.
The current Auto Reply does not offer an automatic after-hours trigger, Story mentions, viral spike protection or link-click measurement. Do not publish a flow that depends on those behaviors.
